Kelpinor exports biostimulants to Europe

Our mission is to phase out wild-harvested seaweeds by developing sustainable biostimulants from cultivated kelp, enhancing agricultural resilience, reducing ocean acidification, and preserving coastal ecosystems.

Kelpinor launches 50 000 square meter production rig

Kelpinor has announced the launch of its first production rig at Vedkjæran, Gildeskål. Spanning an expansive 50,000 square meters, the equivalent of 8 football fields, this state-of-the-art structure will play an important role in the company's mission to substantially scale up seaweed production.

Kelpinor seaweed receives Organic Certification by Debio

Kelpinor has received its Organic Certifications from Debio for its seaweed, meeting the standards outlined in Norway's regulations for organic production. This makes Kelpinor one of just nine companies in Norway with certification for organic macroalgae production. The certification encompasses Kelpinor's cultivation activities and products, including seedlings and dried seaweed.
