Seaweed Biostimulants aid agricultural sustainability
Biostimulants are biological substances or microorganisms with a multi-compound nature, comprising both bioactive and non-bioactive components, that synergistically enhance nutrient efficiency, stimulate growth, and improve stress tolerance, complementing traditional fertilizers rather than replacing them. Seaweed is a powerhouse of such components and can be subjected to effective extraction methods to develop products for supporting plant growth and stress mitigation to support sustainable and regenerative agriculture.
Kelpinor's unique slow and cold milling and formulations results in an aqueous acid extraction of raw seaweed that help in preserving the relevant components, including the heat and alkalinity sensitive compounds. This results in products whose formulation confers beneficial effects for the plants that can be categorized into the following four categories:
